Great museum with a lot of interesting story and art. We were most impressed with the cartoon from Raphael. Many will also like the drawings from Da Vinci. The signs could be a little better and remember to buy the ticket for the cave below the museum at the entrance otherwise you are not allowed down there.
Extraordinary museum that hosts a beautiful collection of Italian masters (such as Caravaggio, Botticelli or Hayez, among others) plus many other interesting artifacts and curiosities. Not very crowded, so it's not necessary to buy tickets in advance. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you like art.
It is a very beautiful historical library as well as a museum. It was founded by Federico Borromeo, which you will see many artworks of his. The staff are very friendly, we got there half an hour before closing and they let us in and told us the most important parts of the library, for us not to miss anything important in our short visit. There is a replica of the last supper by Leonardo da Vinci and a mural painting "Christ Crowned with Thorns" by one of his students, Bernardino Luini. Further more, there is a library where you can find Leonardo da Vinci's scripts, few original and the rest of them are digital.

Lovely to see the Caravaggio and the drawing of the School of Athens, but the Leonardo sketches (which I'd came for) were a little disappointing. It's essentially only one room at the end of the labyrinthine museum and pretty minimal. Still worth a visit but not worth getting out of the way for.
A beautiful, historic place to visit in Milan . By the entrance, it is required to buy tickets. Not crowdy. You can explore the place without buzzling crowd .
The museum itself and the content was nice. It was a bit sad that most of the paintings or sculptures do not have English translations.
The staff at the entrance was particularly not welcoming at all. The entrance price is also a bit expensive. There is also only one toilet which is at the entrance of the building.
This place is huge , you can walk around and see many painting the library room and small balconies whith view in the garden . Wonderful walls and history . You should defenetly pay a visit ,the whole walk takes around 30 min to complete without a guide. If you want just to admire everything no guide is required.
